British Music Stars and Soccer In Los Angeles

According to FeedBurner, many of my readers are from London, so I thought you might enjoy this little tale. I am sure my friend Steff will, as she's always up on pop culture. Tonight, I met someone extremely famous, or so I was told. When I got home, I looked him up, and sure enough, he is huge in Europe. According to Wikipedia, "he has sold more albums in the UK than any other British solo artist in history". Have any of you heard of Robbie Williams? My wife knew who he was immediately. Must be the fact...

A Strange Parking Ticket

I received a strange delinquency notice for a parking ticket this week. At first glance, it seemed normal enough. Yep, there’s my license plate number. Yep, the make of the car is correct, Acura. But look at this, the color of the car is wrong. That’s strange since it’s not one of those cases where they indicated midnight blue when the car is black. No, they indicated red and my car is blue. Thank God You're Here

How good are you at thinking on your feet? Last night I watched the premier for a new show called Thank God You’re Here. It’s a sketch improv comedy show starring various comedy television and movie stars, who have to bluff their way through a scene. They are given costumes, a set, but no script. I posted some links and screenshots on my other blog.

Video Dice Stacking

Went For A Run And Other Mundane Things

I went for a run yesterday. Not a very notable event, normally. But it's the first run for the sake of running I've done in...over a year or two. Ever since my knee started bothering me. It felt good, though it created a desire to purchase more gadgets. Specifically an iPod shuffle, the clip-on kind. This last weekend we had a baby showr at Will Rogers State Park. Pics are up on Flickr. My soccer buddy Donny grilled up some tasty vegetables and we both grilled a bunch of burgers.
