Today a few friends dropped by and they remarked about how much Cody looks like his papa. I just hadn't seen the resemblance. So it occurred to me that I needed to give Cody a prop that might help me see the resemblance. In these next two pictures and in the video, Cody does a Phil impression (click for larger). Do you see the resemblance? For reference, here is the youngest picture of me I could find.  

That there on the left is Micah Kang, Dan and Judy's son. They came over for a visit bearing food and Micah. Looks like the two boys are going to get along just fine. I'm really glad our friend Laura let us borrow this video called The Happiest Baby on the Block. It's also a book, but I think the video is probably a quicker way to learn in this case. It's predicated on the theory that the first three month's of a baby's life is in essence, the fourth trimester. In other words, the baby is still very fetus like. Blah blah blah. I didn't have time to post here as well, but Cody and momma are doing great. Here's the post on my techie blog complete with pics. Today, my friend Donny and his wife Jeannie made us grilled vegetable medley, brown rice, grilled salmon, etc... Donny is a wiz on the gas grill and the food was great! It's nice having friends who are walking distance from us. I should make more friends in the neighborhood. ;) Tomorrow, I will have the CHP check my car seat. It's in there pretty firmly, so place your bets on whether or not I did...

We have the latest report from the Cody Watch Mega Doppler 7000 HD. The wife's water just broke. This generally means that in the next 24 hours, she will enter active labor and then deliver. We haven't left for the hospital just yet, but probably will sometime tonight. Wish us luck!

The wife is doing fine. No signs of Cody's arrival. Expected due date approaches in four days. Will keep you updated.
